Nicolas has a dream: to become a writer like his uncle. Then life comes in between and his father's company, responsibility, appointments and sheer constraints. When his uncle dies, Nicolas loses the only person who believed in him. But then he finds the key to becoming who he really is in the most unlikely place. Biography Bas Kast, born in 1973, studied psychology and biology in Konstanz, Bochum and at MIT in Boston. He completed his journalistic training at Geo, Nature and the Tagesspiegel, where he has been an editor in the science department since 2002. Bas Kast has been awarded the Barmer Prize for Medical Journalism and the Axel Springer Prize for Young Journalists, among others. Notes:
