Biography (Anna-Nina Kroll)

Anna-Nina Kroll, born in Essen in 1988, studied literary translation in Düsseldorf. She has recently translated works by Donal Ryan, Moira Weigel, Carmen Maria Machado, and Anna Burns into German. For her translation of Anna Burns's *The Milkman*, she received the 2021 Straelen Translator's Prize from the North Rhine-Westphalia Arts Foundation.
