The fans had to be patient, but now, after five years, a new album by Adam Angst's punk rockers is being released. The work bears the beautiful name »Twist« and combines all the band's well-known strengths on eleven songs. But exciting new influences can also be discerned.

Like in the first single for the album called »Die Lösung für Deine Probleme«. The song starts as a first-class piano ballad and was the first Adam Angst piece ever composed on this instrument. A natural development after singer Felix Schönfuss began to learn to play the piano during the pandemic. In terms of content, the band criticizes the tendency to want to have ever simpler solutions to ever more complex problems. In its attitude, the quintet remains true to itself.

Und Treue wird belohnt. In den knapp zehn Jahren, die es Adam Angst mittlerweile gibt, hat die Band ihre beiden Alben in den deutschen Charts platziert – zuletzt gelang mit »Neintology« ein großartiger Platz 29. Außerdem sind die Norddeutschen gerne gesehene Gäste auf den größten Rockfestivals des Landes wie Rock am Ring und durften im Sommer 2022 Die Ärzte vor über 45.000 Leute in Köln supporten.

»Twist« wird erneut beim Hamburger Qualitätslabel Grand Hotel van Cleef erscheinen, der Firma von Thees Uhlmann und Markus Wiebusch (Kettcar).
