I offer professional help and support in creating academic papers in the humanities (term papers, essays, BA theses and MA theses).

My assistance includes the following points:

1. Preparation (finding and narrowing down the topic, literature research, help with reading and preparing academic texts, creating the outline and preliminary concept of the work, taking notes, etc.)
2. Structure of the work (methodology and subdivision of the work into introduction, main body and conclusion, as well as bibliography and list of sources, and everything that must be included in each of these parts so that the work meets the criteria of a good scientific text)
3. Content of the work (the selection and elaboration of the specific research topic as well as its integration and positioning within the field of existing research; furthermore – depending on the scope and ambition of the work –: the development of an original theory, thesis or concept, or the design and evaluation of an empirical study in the case of quantitative research)
4. Formalities (everything from font to citation and the correct placement of footnotes)

The consultation takes place online: either via Zoom, Skype, or, if preferred, even – quite anachronistically – by telephone. I charge €15 per session, which lasts 120 minutes.

In addition, I also offer editing and proofreading of scientific texts (15 EUR for term papers or other smaller papers, 50 EUR for BA theses and 100 EUR for MA theses).

About me: I hold a PhD in Philosophy. I have a BA and MA in Musicology, Media Studies, and Gender Studies, and a successfully completed doctoral dissertation in Philosophy. I also completed two semesters of Art History (though I didn't graduate). Currently, I'm working on establishing myself as an academic coach and am still figuring out which methods and teaching approaches are most effective. For this reason, I'm currently offering my services at a slightly reduced rate.
