Age of Wonders 4 - Giant Kings DLC (PC) Steam Key is an extensive expansion that introduces the power of ancient giants and new possibilities for exploring the Astral Sea. The expansion allows you to explore the ruins of a former giant empire, obtain powerful magic crystals, and lead your empire as a powerful ruler with superhuman strength. The most important novelty is a new type of leader – the Giant King. This powerful ruler possesses unique terraforming abilities and can use the Forge of Items from the start of the game. Giant Kings can summon ancient weapons into battle, unlock powerful runes, and create unique equipment for their army. Players can choose one of four powerful clans and shape the world according to their own vision – flatten mountain peaks, enlarge rock massifs, create solidified lava, or cover lands with ice. The expansion also introduces a new crystal habitat – a monumental structure inhabited by the souls of ancient giants trapped in crystal rocks. Maintaining a good relationship with the Council Chair unlocks a unique shop that offers unique skills, magical items, and rare artifacts. New Special Zones appear on the world map – huge regions that can be attached to your empire for additional economic benefits. Players will discover, among other things, mighty waterfalls, the remains of ancient dragons, and majestic underground structures. The expansion also introduces as many as 38 hand-designed regions that perfectly fit into the existing game world environment. Itinerant merchants offering powerful services and rare goods are also new. In three types of shops, you can buy equipment and skills for heroes, mounts to strengthen your army, or explore parts of the world map. Players can also choose to rob the merchants and seize their goods, however, this will close the possibility of further purchases. The expansion also introduces the events of the Cursed Regions related to the Legend of Myrrida land trait. Nine unique story areas allow you to explore forgotten stories of giants and earn legendary artifacts that provide powerful economic bonuses. Collecting three artifacts triggers a special final event with a unique reward. New units and powerful creatures also appear in the game world. Players will face off against five units of lithorins – crystal guardians of the abyss – and powerful primordial beings, colossal tier five beasts guarding ancient wonders. The expansion also includes two new books of magic. The Book of the Underground Depths allows you to develop a powerful underground empire, create clay soldiers and set up defensive traps. The Book of Geomancy, on the other hand, allows you to transform individuals into beings from a geomantic crystal, increasing their resistance and attack power, and allows you to recruit geomancers who wield the power of the earth. Age of Wonders 4 - Giant Kings also adds additional content to the game, including three new lands features, a new lands template, two ancient wonders, four new soundtracks by Michiel van den Bos, and a new underworld-inspired UI skin. With this, the expansion offers even more opportunities for exploration, strategy, and epic adventures in a fantasy world.
