In BLOOD West, the legends of the Strange West meet Lovecraftian horror in an immersive stealth FPS. Take on the role of the Undead Gunslinger, doomed to roam the Barren Lands, and find a way to lift the curse and free your soul. No, this is not a typical story about the redemption of a lonely desperado. It is a story of condemnation. Canyons, Swamps and Mountains. Each area is teeming with terrifying monsters and hellish demons. Maps are open worlds to explore freely at your own pace. On average, it takes a player over 20 hours to complete all three scenarios, and more than 35 hours to see everything that the Barren Lands has to offer. Blood West is a stealth FPS game inspired by classics of the genre such as the Thief series (whose fans recognize Stephen Russell, the actor who voices the master thief - Garrett), the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or - from newer titles - Hunt: Showdown. The gameplay rewards a cautious approach that takes into account terrain reconnaissance, enemy tracking, and stealth attacks. Can you find a way to clear a fort full of ghouls and monsters without raising the alarm? The Barren Lands presents the player with a nightmarish, warped vision of the legends of the Wild West. The curse that fell on this land corrupted every living being, defiled the earth, and summoned restless spirits and dark entities. In this mix of pulp gunslinger tales and Lovecraftian horror, devilish spells pose as much of a threat as sudden lead poisoning. In Blood West , you will meet many colorful, although often perverted, fully dubbed, NPCs. Like you, they are prisoners of the Barren Lands. Sometimes they will share their unusual stories with you and send you on one mission or another. Do well, and they can reward you or become your allies. Go so far as to betray and you will expose yourself to their wrath. The game will not lead you by the hand. You will explore the terrain on your own (buying a map from a vendor may prove useful!) and find your own way to complete tasks and complete missions. As you explore three expansive maps, keep an eye out for secluded locations and treasures hidden within them. There is gold in the mountains! Warning - it's probably cursed. If stealth is not your passion or you feel that you have a significant advantage over your enemies, you can always take a direct approach and run towards the monsters with a weapon in your hand. Blood West created a studio that gave fans of the POSTAL series the beloved boomer-shooter spin-off, POSTAL: Brain Damaged. So expect a lot of fancy violence and pixelated blood splashes. One man's hell can be another hoarder's paradise! From simple disposables like bandages to medical tinctures and explosive and incendiary gadgets, to powerful artifacts that can change your playstyle, the Barren Lands are filled to the brim with STUFF. Discover tons of useful items, and hide the super-rare potions you collect and never use in a special chest in the player's hideout. A gunslinger without a revolver would be an ordinary... sheep. And where is the fun here? Blood West provides a wide variety of weapons. Revolvers, rifles, shotguns - a large selection of firearms, from standard military equipment to pieces imbued with powerful magic or simply possessed. And if you'd rather not make any noise, there's also a wide selection of melee and archery weapons. Blood West's perk-based RPG character progression system will allow you to customize the game experience to your liking. Become a silent hunter, a crazy amateur shooter or even a relentless berserker. You'll gain experience and develop your skills as you discover new artifacts in each chapter that will allow you to take advantage of additional abilities. Different combinations and combinations of skills and equipment create more possible playstyles than you will be able to check out in a single casual gameplay.
