As the leader of a small group of refugees fleeing a devastated land, you are tasked with creating a new home in a strange world. You must provide the settlers with shelter, food and safety, as well as develop an economy that will allow them to survive the first difficult seasons. Gather resources, hunt, cultivate the land, and take care of the needs of the colonists so that your settlement can become the beginning of a future kingdom. The game offers an extensive construction system – you can build structures piece by element or create plans that the settlers will make for you. Over a hundred unique building modules allow you to build houses, workshops, fortifications or entire districts, and more elements will be added as the game develops. You can also share your own designs in the Steam Workshop, allowing you to share eye-catching designs with other players. Terraforming the terrain also plays an extremely important role. You have full freedom to shape the world around the settlement – level fields for crops, raise or lower the terrain for more advanced structures, dig moats, build, fill natural depressions and remove vegetation to prepare the space for further investments. You decide what your future kingdom will look like. Outside the walls of the settlement, however, dangers lurk. Wild animals, bandits and other enemies can threaten the inhabitants and trade routes. Combat is in the style of a third-person RPG, allowing you to face threats head-on while strengthening the position of your kingdom. Protecting people and developing military power is key to maintaining power. The biggest challenges lie in the ancient underworld. Dungeon Expeditions allow you to earn rare resources, new technologies, and powerful rewards. Each dungeon consists of a series of rooms full of monsters, and at the end, a challenging boss awaits.
