Your own laboratory will allow you to test samples, develop new solutions and develop methods for obtaining raw materials, food or medicines. As you explore the ruins of an ancient civilization, you'll come across numerous resources that you can collect, process, and reuse. Fallen structures hide not only raw materials, but also a story about the last days of humanity, which you get to know piece by piece. New materials and technologies will make it possible to improve the ship, tools and life support systems. Your goal is also to reach a mysterious world hidden "under the dust", where nature – left to itself – has developed new, dangerous life forms. You will encounter aggressive organisms, dangerous viruses and mutations that you must study and understand if you want to save your loved ones and find answers to why you returned to Earth. The world of Forever Skies is a vision of a planet divided into two distinct ecosystems: the upper one, consisting of the floating ruins of our ancient civilization, and the lower one, unknown, wild and contaminated, hiding the secrets of evolution after an ecological catastrophe.
