Heretical is a dark Rogue-lite Action RPG with soulslike elements, set in the brutal medieval fantasy world of Aelyndor. Every death is part of progression here – unlocking new powers, characters, and strategies, allowing you to gradually climb Mount Sanctor and face the merciless demigod Abidan. Since its release in Early Access, the game has already received two major updates: Celestial Weave (v0.2) and The Bells Toll (v0.3), which have significantly expanded the content and gameplay mechanics. The next major update – Mines of Sanctora – is planned for the third quarter of 2025 and will introduce a new playable character, a completely new region, and numerous changes to the combat system and gameplay balance.
