Howl is a tactical turn-based game set in a medieval fairytale world. A sinister "howling plague" devastates lands, turning anyone who hears it into crazed beasts. You play the role of a deaf heroine throwing herself into a whirlwind of danger in search of a cure. Plan up to six steps ahead to outsmart your opponents – wolves overwhelmed by hunger and rage. Different types of enemies lurk in the dark. Each of them has a certain level of vitality and different abilities, so you need to carefully strategize to defeat them. In combat, you use not only your cleverness, but also a number of abilities. As you kill more wolves, you'll acquire skills like jump, smoke bomb, and piercing shot. Progress throughout your journey to upgrade your skills, unlock more action slots, and undo points for all actions in a round. When you develop your own plan of attack, you also create your prediction by weaving the manuscript during combat. The visuals were created with the help of 'living ink', a style that colorfully paints stories during the game. Fight your way through a dark fairytale world made up of mysterious, magical locations where you will fight and write to get rid of the plague.
