In Killing Floor 2, players find themselves in continental Europe, where the catastrophe caused by the failed Horzine Biotech experiment has begun to spread at an unstoppable pace, leading to the paralysis of the European Union. A month after the end of the first part of KILLING FLOOR, mutant clones are everywhere, civilization ceases to exist, the means of communication do not work, governments have fallen, and military forces are systematically eliminated. Europeans are well versed in the art of survival and have an instinct for self-preservation. Those who survived are in hiding. Not everyone has lost hope... A group of civilians and mercenaries joined forces to fight the mutants and established privately funded bases of operations across Europe. Players are sent to zones infested by the Zets to track down the mutant clones and get rid of them.
