Lovecraft's Untold Stories is a roguelike with RPG elements where you explore randomly generated levels inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's stories. You fight cultists and various monsters from the Cthulhu Mythos, upgrade weapons and equipment, solve puzzles and challenges, and seek clues and knowledge to defeat the Great Ancient Ones and the Outer Gods. EXPERIENCE THE STORIES OF H.P. LOVECRAFT The game is based on the work of H.P. Lovecraft. You will experience the space horror created by the genius from Providence. Each character conducts an investigation that takes them to different locations, from a dark Victorian mansion to an abandoned hospital where forbidden experiments are carried out, or a jungle where lost tribes perform forgotten rituals. These are just a few examples. The levels are randomly generated, so you will have a new experience every time. In addition, they vary depending on the character you choose. Search for items and clues to unlock secrets and new stories! 5 CHARACTER CLASSES, 5 WAYS TO FIGHT MYTHS You can play as 5 different characters, each with a different playstyle and story. You can choose from: detective, witch, thief, professor and even a ghoul. Each hero has unique stats, weapons, and combat moves, providing five completely different gameplay experiences. The detective offers a balanced playstyle, with average health and stamina. The Professor specializes in ranged combat, has less health, but has a special shield from Tillinghast's weapon. The witch deals a lot of damage, has the ability to teleport and elemental shields of fire and ice, but also very low health. The Thief is a melee master who uses stealth to maximize her damage. The ghoul deals a lot of melee damage, has a lot of health, and recovers, but cannot use health kits. UNCOVER THE SECRETS OF THE GREAT ANCIENT ONES The truth about the dark horrors inhabiting the universe is unbearable to the human mind. In the end, you can't win against the Ancient Ones. Madness or death awaits you. But perhaps you can delay the inevitable... If you come face to face with the Great Ancient Ones without any knowledge of them, you will go mad just by looking at their hideous faces. However, in each level, you will find special items containing information about the Great Ancient Ones. The more you know about them, the stronger your mind will become. Knowledge, however, is not easy to acquire, and if you are not thorough in your research, you may reach the end of the story without finding everything there is to know. You'll have to play all the characters if you want to discover all the information regarding each Great Ancient One!
