Build your settlement on the newly discovered continent of Northgard! Assign your Vikings to different tasks and carefully manage resources to survive the harsh winters and attacks of cruel enemies. Develop your clan strategically as you strive for victory through conquest, fame, folklore, or trade. Story mode. The Supreme Viking King is murdered and his Royal Horn is stolen by a certain Hagen. This event begins a saga in which Rig, the king's son and heir, and his right-hand man, Brand, will travel across the new continent of Northgard to find out the cause of their father's death. An addition to Northgard, Vidar's Cross introduces a new campaign that takes place in an entirely new civilization – the Southern Kingdoms. This expansion also introduces a new faction, never before seen in Northgard – the Kingdom of Neustria. Survive and conquer the unforgiving wastes of Northgard by mastering the unique attributes of the many different clans that inhabit the continent! Each clan has its own unique specifics, bonuses, and traits, introducing new ways to play and methods of achieving victory. Conquest mode. Choose your clan and fight in many unique scenarios and situations! Conquest of Northgard is a standalone game mode that can be played solo or in co-op, with a range of different challenges that will make the game over 100 hours longer.
