Resident Evil 6 is an extended installment of Capcom's cult survival horror series, which combines intense action with the dark atmosphere known from previous installments. The story of the game takes place on a global scale, with players taking on the role of well-known characters from the series, such as Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Ada Wong, as well as new heroes including Jake Muller. Everyone has to face a new threat – the deadly virus C. The action takes players to different parts of the world, including North America, the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia and the Chinese city of Lanshiang. The gameplay is divided into four separate but interconnected story campaigns that present events from different perspectives. Each campaign offers a different style of gameplay and its own heroes, thanks to which the story gains even more depth. New to Resident Evil 6 is the Crossover mechanic, which allows you to team up with other online players at key moments in the story. In some scenarios, up to four players can face dangerous situations together, which introduces new possibilities for cooperation and increases the dynamics of the gameplay. The game offers the ability to go through the campaign both solo and in two-player co-op mode – locally or online. After completing the three main campaigns, an additional story focused on the character of Ada Wong is unlocked. This campaign introduces new missions, unique weapons, and story elements that explain the events of previous scenarios. Throughout the game, players will face many varieties of opponents infected with the C virus, including zombies, J'avo and other mutated forms. The skill system allows you to develop your character by earning points, which can be used for upgrades such as greater firepower, faster reloading, and increased stamina. Resident Evil 6 also introduces an extensive control system, allowing you to shoot on the move, dodge, flip, and use improved melee attacks. The popular Mercenary mode also returns, where players can test their skills in intense clashes with hordes of opponents. An additional highlight is the Agent Hunt mode, which allows you to play as one of the monsters and attack other players in their campaign. Thanks to this, the gameplay gains a completely new perspective and even more excitement. Resident Evil 6 is one of the most extensive parts of the series, offering a multi-threaded story, a variety of campaigns and dynamic gameplay for fans of horror and action.
