At the beginning of the story of Resident Evil Revelations 2, the favorite heroine of the series - Claire Redfield - returns in dramatic circumstances. Known from previous Resident Evil games and a survivor of the Raccoon City crashes, Claire currently works for an organization called Terra Save, which is dedicated to fighting bioterrorism. Moira Burton is on her way to a welcome party at Terra Save when unknown armed forces launch an attack on the office. Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious, only to wake up later in a dark and abandoned detention center. Together, they must find out who kidnapped them and what the purpose of these ominous actions is. Will Claire and Moira make it out of the predicament alive and find out why they were taken to this deserted island? Full of dramatic twists and turns, the story will keep players on their toes throughout. On the way to the deserted prison island where Barry Burton hopes to find his missing daughter, our hero meets a completely new character. It is Natalia Korda — a girl with extraordinary power, which allows her to sense enemies and hidden objects. Using these abilities combined with Barry's proven combat skills, players will alternate between the two characters to survive on a mysterious island and find Moira. Terrifying enemies lurk in every dark alley, so Barry will be forced to manage his ammunition and weapons carefully, according to the rules of the classic survival horror genre. In keeping with the episodic layout of the original Resident Evil Revelations, the next installments of Resident Evil Revelations 2 will initially be released as weekly episodes available for download starting February 24, 2015. Players also have the option to purchase the entire series or a box set, which will provide fans of the game with access to the next episodes along with additional content on release days. Each episode of Resident Evil Revelations 2 features Assault Mode content, as well as two scenarios, one of which is tied to Claire and Moira's previously featured campaign, and the other to Barry and Natalie's newly outlined story.
