However, it soon turns out that your mission turns into a desperate fight for survival, and the hostile forces consider you to be the greatest threat. The game focuses on full immersion: the lack of any markers and clues forces you to carefully observe the surroundings and remember the layout of the rooms. The key to progress is slow, careful exploration and analysis of the information found in the environment. Each answer leads to more puzzles, and the only way forward is to go deeper into the increasingly disturbing sectors of the facility. During the game, you will travel through the diverse areas of the lunar station: from destroyed quarters and railway tunnels to extinct shopping complexes. The minimalist interface, diegetic sound and emphasis on the characters' body awareness intensify the tension and build a sultry, claustrophobic atmosphere. The most important tool is CAT, a multifunctional device that allows you to access terminals, orient yourself in your surroundings and discover hidden clues. It is also the only way to minimally defend yourself against a mysterious opponent, from whom often the only effective tactic is to hide and flee.
