SLEEP AWAKE is an intense, first-person psychedelic horror game that takes the player on a dark journey on the verge of sleep and death. The action takes place in the last known city on Earth, where the inhabitants suffer from chronic insomnia, and the growing panic leads to the emergence of death cults and desperate experiments to save people from the mysterious phenomenon of disappearing in sleep, called SILENCE. You play as Katja – a woman trying to survive in a world where sleep has become the greatest threat. As you explore a warped reality, you must avoid depraved cult followers, solve puzzles, and fight to stay conscious while facing the trauma of past events and nightmares that won't let you forget. The game combines elements of stealth, survival and escape, focusing on tension and an atmosphere of constant danger. The psychedelic visuals, inspired by hallucinatory visions, blur the boundaries between reality and imagination. FMV sequences intertwine with the gameplay, intensifying the feeling of confusion and anxiety. Cory Davis, creator of Spec Ops: The Line, and Robin Finck of Nine Inch Nails, who created the mesmerizing, dark soundtrack, are responsible for the project.
