StarDrive is an extensive 4X-type space strategy game that focuses on complete freedom of action and deep control over every aspect of the galactic empire. Starting with a single planet and a small fleet, you gradually explore the galaxy, colonize new worlds, develop technologies and defend your existence from rivals. Full freedom of the way to domination The choice of playing style is entirely yours. You can build power through diplomacy and trade, conduct covert espionage operations, or resort to brute military force. Make alliances, provoke wars, conquer enemies economically or technologically, and create your own galaxy history. Advanced ship design system The heart of the game is the modular spaceship building system. Each element has a real impact on the behavior of the unit in combat. The placement of armor, weapons and defense systems determines effectiveness in combat, and during clashes you can maneuver a ship, use allied cover, jump into hyperspace, launch fighters or lay mines. Dynamic real-time gameplay The game offers a smooth transition from a strategic map view of the galaxy to detailed real-time battles. You can command your fleet with classic RTS orders or take direct arcade control of any ship.
