Crusader Fortress 2 is the long-awaited successor to the castle building simulator. After 12 years, the Stronghold returns to the desert of the Middle East around 1189 with a new 3D engine and Havok physics. Firefly Studios will bring to 3D the fast-paced gameplay and castle building and management simulator known from the first part. The new Stronghold returns to its roots, combining real-time strategy with a castle construction and management simulator. Play as a brutal Crusader or an Arab lord fighting for freedom. Lead your troops into battle as Richard the Lionheart or Saladin in two historical campaigns with dynamic events such as a tornado or locust attack. Become the best lord by managing the economy in the desert and looking for oases full of greenery. To win on the battlefield, you will have to use more than 25 types of units. Boost morale with the Staff Sergeant, charge the Sassanid knights, rain arrows on the enemy with archers, or capture enemy walls with the Assassins. Once you've trained yourself, test your skills in Skirmish Mode or play an online duel with up to eight players at once. Create teams, choose your computer opponents, and design your own map to play in skirmish or multiplayer mode!
