A game about recovery, not domination Unlike classic strategies, Terra Nil does not reward industrial development or expansion. The goal is balance. Reclaim a degraded world and transform it into wilderness by retreating yourself into the shadows when your role is over. A different world every time Each playthrough is a new challenge thanks to procedurally generated maps. Winding rivers, steep hills, vast plains, and coastline make every decision must be carefully thought out. No two approaches are identical – each land requires a different renewal plan. Natural rhythm and life cycle Every region goes through stages of development – from cleansing, through reclamation, to complete regeneration. Once you've completed your quest, the final phase is to completely remove the infrastructure to leave the environment intact, ready for wildlife to return.
