Heart of the Swamp is the third story expansion for The Riftbreaker, bringing the gameplay to an all-new biome, the Mushroom Swamp. This extremely rich and diverse ecosystem centered around the Great Mushroom Tree stands on the brink of extinction. Parasitic species have upset nature's delicate balance, and Ashley and Mr. Riggs must decide the fate of this region. The expansion introduces a new branch of the story campaign, multi-stage missions, and unique mechanics related to the construction of bases on water and land. By learning the rules of the local ecosystem, the player gains access to new technologies, constructions and powerful military tools that allow them to face growing threats.
