The Otomo Clan Pack is an expansion pack for Total War: SHOGUN 2 that introduces a new, fully playable faction – the Otomo clan. The faction is available in the single-player and multiplayer campaigns, as well as in custom battles and multiplayer mode. The Otomo clan was the first to establish close trade relations with the Portuguese, which provided them with access to modern firearms and significant economic support. In return, Christianity flourishes in the lands of Otomo, which radically changes the style of gameplay and strategy of conducting the campaign. This faction is ideal for players who prefer advanced ranged units and an alternative approach to religion and state development.
