Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late is a fast-paced 2D fighting game in a fantasy and light novel atmosphere, set in the mysterious world of Hollow Night. The story centers around the Night Blade organization, which has been guarding the balance during the Night of the Void for centuries. Night Blade's princess, Linne, meets a young boy, Hyde, the owner of the legendary sword of destiny she has been looking for for a long time. In Hollow Night, monsters called Voids feed on the power manifested there, while In-births can use it for their own purposes. As the numbers of both factions skyrocket, Linne finds herself on the trail of a conspiracy by a mysterious figure known as Paradox. Behind this nickname is Hilda, the leader of the dark organization Amnesia. The fight to stop the chaos that threatens the whole world begins.
