Dorfromantik is a relaxing strategy game in which you create ever-growing, idyllic rural landscapes by laying tiles. With Dorfromantik you can immerse yourself in a quiet, peaceful world at any time and get away from everyday life. At the same time, Dofromantik offers challenges to those who seek them: to break the record, you need to carefully and strategically plan the placement of your tiles. In Dorfromantik, you start the game with a stack of randomly generated tiles. One by one, you pull the tile from the top of the pile and place it in one of the free spaces, adjusting its rotation beforehand if necessary. Thus, you create groups and landscape combinations such as forests, villages, or water bodies and receive points, the number of which depends on how well the tile will fit into the environment. On some tiles, you will also encounter special objects that will assign you missions: for example, a mill will want to border 6 fields, a locomotive will want to be connected to 10 tracks, and a deer will want to inhabit a forest with a minimum of 50 trees. Complete these missions to get more tiles and be able to continue expanding your landscape. The game ends when the pile of tiles ends. As you expand your landscape, you'll reach new colorful biomes and discover previously placed objects that will set you long-term tasks. With these quests, you'll unlock new tiles, new biomes, and new missions. Custom mode allows you to create your own rules and share them with others, while monthly mode has a new challenge waiting for you every month! And if you want to relax and build your own landscape without limits, try the creative mode! Dorfromantik was created by four Game Design students from Berlin. Together, we founded Toukana Interactive and want to create many more small, original and high-quality indie games in the future.
