You are one of the three children who survived the Castagath massacre. Rescued by Chief Inquisitor Heimlock, you have been drafted into the Republican Purifier army. From a very young age, you trained in a military academy to become excellent soldiers in the fight against supernatural forces. At times, you could count on Heimlock himself's advice and teachings, which earned the three of you – you and your childhood friends, Valeria and Edric – the nickname "Children of Heimlock". Recently, the Brotherhood of the Dawn has invaded the Scarlet Tower, a mysterious fortress of the Republic, hidden in the northern deserts called the Red Wastes. Although the purpose of this intrusion is unknown, the Senate of the Republic decided to retaliate against all known Brotherhood headquarters. Soon, troops under the command of Chief Inquisitor Heimlock himself were deployed on the Shipwreck Coast near the city-state of Stormfall with the task of destroying the Brotherhood camp. Together with two childhood friends, you are part of this operation and are already looking forward to fighting. There are no classes in Wolcen – only your weapons determine the rules for skill types. The three types of resources Rage and Power interact with each other using the Opposing Resource System. Endurance, on the other hand, allows you to roll to avoid danger or travel faster. Apocalyptic Form All characters can transform into one of the four available celestial incarnations, each with four different abilities and one devastating ultimate ability. Show Your Style Customize your appearance by changing the visual styles of your armor and weapons. Earn over 100 different dyes and customize your armor to reflect your personal preferences. The asymmetrical armor system will also allow you to change the appearance of the left and right shoulder pads and gloves separately. Difficulty levels Define what you want your campaign to look like by choosing one of the two available difficulty settings, Story or Normal. The endgame was created in such a way that the level of difficulty gradually increased. Regular Updates and Seasonal Events Our goal is to make Wolcena a long-term game, with regular updates and additions, including new options, acts, content, upgrades, PvP mode, houses, and seasonal events.
