Product description

The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Why So Sad combines comfort and iconic design designed for both skateboarding and everyday wear. This edition supports the Why So Sad mission of the John Rattray Foundation, a skateboarder and mental health activist. The Why So Sad campaign aims to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention, and to prioritise sport as a daily habit that is good for body and soul. The model, created in collaboration with John Rattray, focuses on a positive attitude and well-being. The shoes are distinguished by a calming navy blue upper and an embroidered graphic of a funny chicken on a skateboard on the side heel - The Predatory Bird, one of the most iconic Rattray icons, appearing on its previous merchandise. The Nike Dunk Low SB Sneakers feature a leather upper and a white SB lacing system in the Fat style. A translucent rubber outsole and Zoom Air cushion inside provide traction and cushioning for both skateboarding and everyday use. The upper made of blue leather and navy blue suede and the addition of embroidered graphics make it an extremely attractive model with a deep message and purpose. An interesting concept is the paint coming off them and the appearance of yellow. This is a reference to the process that, according to Rattray, " we go through when we face emotional challenges, and the work we have to do to give ourselves a chance at happiness ." This is complemented by red accents on the heel with the '?' sign and on the tongue with the inscription WHY SO SAD. Colours: COASTAL BLUE/COASTAL BLUE-LIGHT CURRENT BLUE SKU: DX5549-400
