Each figure is unique, so there may be slight color or dimensional deviations.  Anchoring plates are attached to the feet so that they can be anchored to concrete. If you want to place the figure on a meadow or similar surface, you should drive wooden stakes into the ground under the anchoring plates and pin your feet to them.
