TOXIKK TOXIKK. is a game in the Arena FPS genre, produced by the German studio Reakktor. The action of the title takes place in the 22nd century, after the global energy crisis, which caused the world to cease to be ruled by politicians of individual countries. Large corporations and cartels took power, from which two factions emerged – EXOCOM, formed by the merger of several European and American companies, and DRAYOS, founded on the initiative of the Russian oligarch Dmitry Drayos. They fight for EDEN – a recently discovered mineral that can lead to the solution of energy problems. However, neither side wants to lose its position in the world, so they are fighting brutally for all the resources of EDEN. The player takes on the role of a mercenary working for one of the corporations. Gameplay in TOXIKK. is like a combination of Unreal Tournament and Halo. Those who want to fight on two types of maps - Classic and Massive. In the first case, medium-sized locations allow for fast-paced gameplay for up to 8 players. In the second case, the focus was on a more strategic approach to the game, which involves 16 people, fighting on larger maps, using vehicles, including hoverbikes. The developers have provided nine types of unique weapons, which have the ability to shoot in two ways. At the beginning of the game, however, we only have a melee attack and a pistol – the rest of the murder tools can be found on the map. The game is fast, arcade and only the skills of the player count, who must remain in constant motion, dodge and use a double jump. The production uses a character customization system, but it is purely cosmetic, so that each person has the same chances of winning. Characters also gain experience and enter the next levels, but this does not affect our capabilities and is only used to match opponents. TOXIKK. It also allows you to create your own maps, characters, and skins, which are placed in a special place where other players vote for the best designs. The whole thing works on the basis of Unreal Engine technology.
