Dry glass sealant. Characteristics: Braided sealant from textured glass yarn made of E-type glass. Thanks to the use of appropriate weave and texture, an elastic sealant with a significant amount of air trapped between the fibers was obtained. This phenomenon results in excellent thermal insulation. Application: Designed for sealing chambers, dryers and furnaces at high temperatures. The high chemical resistance of glass fibers allows this sealant to be used in chemical apparatus and in waste installations of hot flue gases and post-reaction gases. The sealant is resistant to most aggressive chemical agents except fluorine, strong alkalis and phosphoric and sulfuric acids. - maximum instantaneous temperature 600 °C, - maximum continuous operating temperature 500 °C, - 1 mb weighs about 0.62 kg.
