The game took first place in the 1ndieWorld The Jam competition, in which the creators were tasked with preparing a game inspired by the cult Polish classic Electro Body from 1992. During the game, our goal is to manipulate the environment in such a way as to allow the hero to reach the goal and avoid the dangers that await him along the way. Each of the 45 game boards consists of a dozen or so square blocks, which, like classic puzzles, can be moved, paving the way for our character to the final teleporter. In addition to directly influencing the environment, during the game we can give the hero simple commands, thanks to which he will overcome the traps set for him or deal with opponents. The gameplay is quite fast and requires a lot of dexterity and reflexes from the players, especially since time also counts for the final result, and the difficulty level of subsequent labyrinths is quite high. In terms of setting, Ego Protocol on PC is decorated with classic two-dimensional graphics, made in a gloomy color scheme, reminiscent of the aforementioned Electro Body.
