It is the debut production of the Fictiorama studio and was released by Daedalic, a company specializing in this genre. The action takes place in the near future, in a gloomy world. The game tells the story of Michael - a man without a past. To regain his own identity, he must uncover the truth about two events that brought human civilization to the brink of extinction. The first was the so-called Great Wave, a series of great natural disasters that followed one another until they turned most of the world into ruin. The second was the outbreak of a mysterious epidemic that equips the infected with superhuman psionic powers, but at the same time, after some time, disintegrates their bodies into pieces, until they finally die, transforming into a pool of blood. To make matters worse, everything indicates that a third event is slowly approaching, which will lead to the end of time itself, thus bringing the final apocalypse to our reality and only Michael can stop it. Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today is a classic adventure game, so while playing, we mainly explore locations, have conversations with the characters we meet, collect items and solve puzzles. The difficulty level of the puzzles is high, but they are all logical and closely related to the scenario. At the same time, the authors provided players with a lot of freedom to explore the world, which was filled with interesting interactive elements, not necessarily related to the main plot. The vision of the future presented by the creators is gloomy, full of brutal deaths, concentration camps for the infected and ruthless people in whom the coming apocalypse has brought out the worst instincts. The graphic design, made in a style known from many comics for adult readers, harmonizes with this - the characters have sharp geometric shapes and are very expressive at the same time.
