Thorsten Nagelschmidt - Where the Wild Maggots Live (Book: Muff Potter, New)
In 2007, >>Wo die wilden Maden graben<< the debut novel by Thorsten Nagelschmidt was published; at that time still under his short name Nagel. And as in his great novel >>Arbeit<< published in 2020, in which he tells the stories of the people who make nightlife possible in the first place, Thorsten Nagelschmidt already reports on the ups and downs of life in the so-called creative industries in his first novel. Except that in >>Where the Wild Maggots Dig<< he portrays his protagonist, a singer and musician of a punk rock band on the road to success, in the very personal moments between euphoria and boredom, between glamour and monotony. Biography Born in 1976 as Thorsten Nagelschmidt in Münsterland, he is an author, musician and artist. He lives in Berlin and Hamburg. Until 1993 to 2009 he was the singer, lyricist and guitarist of the band Muff Potter. He published the fanzine Wasted Paper and wrote freelance for Intro, Jungle World and Opak.
