Who wouldn't wish to finally be good at school? To know what the capital of Madagascar is called, how many kilos a hippo weighs and how many grams an earthworm weighs. It's a bit strange, however, that shy Tobi suddenly knows all the answers since he wears braces. The classmates, at first flabbergasted with admiration, become suspicious, and Tobi is also gradually uncanny about the whole thing.
Biography (Lukas Hartmann)
Lukas Hartmann, born in 1944, lives as a freelance writer and journalist in Bern. He has received several awards for his novels - as well as for his books for children and young people - e.g. in 2010 with the first Grand Literature Prize of the City and Canton of Bern.
