Ansgar Sittmann - Five-Star Murder Book New
A trip to the Moselle? To the oldest city in Germany? Romantic vineyards, Roman monuments and refreshing Viez? Why not, thinks private detective Castor L. Dennings when he is commissioned by the dreaded restaurant critic Niedermayer to find his stolen laptop. His customer reacts all too nervously to questions about the content, and Dennings quickly realizes that Niedermayer has something to hide. The excursion to the province has unexpected surprises in store. Already on the first evening, the critic is found dead in a restaurant in Schweich - stabbed with a serving fork. Dennings now receives much more attention than a detective would actually like. Nervous cooks, organized crime and an overzealous inspector prove to be hard-to-digest ingredients of a murderous meal. Five stars for a fast-paced crime novel that will not only appeal to gourmets and Moselle wine lovers. Biography Ansgar Sittmann was born on November 10, 1965 in Trier. The fact that he has become a globetrotter because of his profession and now lives in Washington DC after stays in Brussels, Islamabad and Paris is certainly due to his first stay abroad and the formative years in Fontainebleau from 1977 to 1981. The connection to his homeland is unbroken, which is why his main character, the Berlin private detective Castor L. Dennings, investigates again and again on the Moselle. Ansgar Sittmann has been happily married for over twenty years and has two children.
