Biography

Frank Goyke was born in Rostock in 1961. From 1983 - 1988 he studied theatre studies in Leipzig, then worked as an editor and lecturer in Berlin. From 1991 to 1996 he was a dramaturg at a Berlin off-theatre. Since 1997 he has been a freelance writer, editor and editor in Berlin. He has published more than twenty books since 1992, including numerous crime novels and non-fiction books. His novel "Dummer Junge, toter Junge" was awarded the Raymond Chandler Society's "Marlowe" crime fiction prize in 1996 as the best German-language crime novel.
