After a brief hesitation, Irina agrees to search for the real perpetrator, and soon discovers that she is dealing with decidedly dark forces... -The first case of ex-BKA investigator Irina Starilenko -A complex crime novel about loyalty and guilt, deception and loss -- and the long shadows of Putin's war in Ukraine.
