Midsummer in Sandhamn: In the harbour, the boats are close together, young people are celebrating on the jetty, the music is booming and the alcohol is flowing in streams. In the crowd, a frightened-looking young girl collapses in front of the police. At the same time, Nora Linde wants to celebrate Midsummer with her new partner Jonas and his daughter Wilma. But the festivities turn into a nightmare when Wilma disappears into the night. The next morning, a body is found on the beach. Nora's childhood friend, Detective Inspector Thomas Andreasson, rushes to the scene of the crime. As the investigation progresses, it becomes clear that everyone has their own version of events.
