Fantastically beautiful Kniepsand, gentle dune landscapes, the scent of Frisian waffles, sun - and sea. After twenty years, journalist Emilia returns to Amrum, the island of her childhood. There she wants to find herself again after separating from her husband. When she learns that thirteen whales are stranded off the coast and that one of them is being prepared on the island, Emilia's journalistic interest is awakened. While researching for an article, she not only falls in love with the taciturn biologist Tamme, she also discovers her own family history. Emilia tries to find out who she really is.

Biography

Anna Rosendahl, geb. 1982, studierte Erziehungswissenschaft (Diplom-Pädagogik) an der Universität Duisburg-Essen und machte 2007 ihren Abschluss als Dipl.-Pädagogin. Seit 2007 ist sie Mitarbeiterin am Fachgebiet Wirtschaftspädagogik/Berufliche Aus- und Weiterbildung der Universität Duisburg-Essen, Institut für Berufs- und Weiterbildung.
