Product description

Always with a "but" on his lips, Bruno Jonas is on a collision course from the very beginning. With his father's constant "You'll never manage that" ringing in his ears, he finds his true calling in the satirical exaggeration of political conditions. Enjoying exaggeration and with a firm eye on the punchline, the butcher's son sows confusion on all sides and rebels against long-established traditions and authorities. Everything that stands in his way is criticized: his family, the Catholic Church, the education system, capitalism, socialism, neoliberalism. This is not an autobiography in the usual sense, but rather a fictionalized life story, a subversive narrative based on the real Bruno Jonas. Biography: Bruno Jonas was born in Passau in 1952. Since 1975, he has worked as an actor and writer for theater and cabaret, including many years as a member of the Munich Lach- und Schießgesellschaft (Laughing and Shooting Society). Since 1985, he has made regular appearances on the satirical program "Scheibenwischer" (Windshield Wiper). He also produced 25 episodes of the satirical radio show "Jonas" on Radio Bremen. Feature film: "We Grandchildren." Eight solo programs to date. Following Dieter Hildebrandt's farewell broadcast in October 2003, Bruno Jonas, along with Mathias Richling and Georg Schramm, formed the new "Scheibenwischer" team. From 2004 to 2006, he wrote Brother Barnabas's Lenten sermon for the Salvator beer tapping ceremony at Nockherberg. Jonas lives with his family in Munich. New product
