Love ennobles every life. Even that of Frieda and Georg, two people who didn't seek it, but were found by it. Frieda is a primary school teacher, Georg a medical equipment salesman. When they first meet unexpectedly, Georg is certain: this beautiful stranger is his great love—and not the woman he dutifully calls every evening while on his business trips.
