When Jana moves with her family from the city to the countryside, she quickly realizes: Behind the bourgeois façade lurk abysses, right-wing extremists are elected as a matter of course. Jana finds support with her neighbor Karolin. However, when she follows her on Instagram, she is irritated. There, Karolin stages herself as a 'tradwife' and fights for ultra-conservative values in the name of tradition in a very contemporary way. Jana tries to resist her fascination, but always catches herself with a disturbing thought: she envies Karolin. Biography Hannah Lühmann, born in 1987, studied philosophy in Berlin and Paris. She is deputy head of the arts section of the "Welt" and "Welt am Sonntag" and has worked for the "Süddeutsche Zeitung", the "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung", "Berliner Zeitung" and "Die Zeit", among others.
