Secret services that go over dead bodies. A government that is silent. A young journalist who is looking for the truth - a thriller cannot be more topical, explosive and critical. Carla Bergmann, a young intern new to the local editorial office of the Morgenpost, investigates a report in the police report and comes across inconsistencies. Dissident Russians in exile were broken into. It stands to reason that the Russian secret service is behind it. But why did German authorities want to cover up the case? After an informant is murdered in front of Carla's eyes, she receives support from Jan Koller, capital correspondent of the Morgenpost and once celebrated investigative journalist. All traces lead to Kiev. What role does a large German arms company play there? In their search for the truth, Carla and Jan encounter increasing resistance, even in their own house. And faster than they realize, their own lives are also in danger. Biography Horst Eckert was born in 1959 in Weiden/Upper Palatinate. Grew up in the Northeast Bavarian province.
