When her shepherdess Rebecca suddenly breaks off her trip to Europe and leads the herd around Miss Maple back to Irish climes, the sheep are initially optimistic like spring lambs. Because where could it be more beautiful than on the home pasture? The latest addition is also excited - Madouc, officially a goat, unofficially a "sheep on trial", hopes for many new insights into the mysterious world of sheep. As soon as they arrive there, however, the regret is great: the beloved pasture is no longer as beautiful as it was in memory, and on top of that, three strange sheep with strange names have nibbled away all their favorite herbs. As if that wasn't enough, Rebecca is suddenly swallowed up by the earth. All that remains is a single finger (not a good start) and a mysterious letter, from which the sheep cannot make sense of it due to the lack of people reading aloud. The herd fears the worst. It is absolutely clear: they have to save their missing shepherdess. Unexpectedly, they find themselves in a family drama, and once again it becomes clear: Everything can be mastered – you just need enough willpower!
