'I'm already very old. But so far it has gone quite well.' Courage, confidence, self-confidence: this is what distinguishes Marianne Koch, and her single mother has set an example for her. She only met her father, the Jewish doctor Rudolf Schindler, who had to emigrate, as an adult. Her film career, for the sake of which she interrupted her medical studies, had already led her to Hollywood. But her passion is medicine. After a major upheaval, the divorce from the father of her sons, she continued her studies. She works as an internist, but at the same time remains present in the media.
