A small bar in Sicily becomes a grand stage for people's worries, troubles and dreams - and for their search for happiness.
The bar 'Bellavista', nestled at the foot of Mount Etna, owes its name to the magnificent panorama of the Ionian Sea. Otherwise, however, its best days are behind it, and only a few regulars still frequent the place: among them a fortune teller, a car mechanic, a cruise ship captain, and a priest. Their small community is unexpectedly disrupted when Vita Carbonaro from Germany arrives one day. She mends what had been broken within them and reawakens dormant connections. The 'Bellavista' once again becomes a vibrant place where friends await. And Vita herself, in a most surprising way, will also find happiness...
A small bar in Sicily becomes the stage for a heartwarming comedy about worries, comfort and life dreams - and about healing, love and home.
