Johanna and her daughter Eisa haven't been close for a long time – Eisa has never gotten over the fact that her mother used to travel a lot for work and had little time for the family. Many years later, Johanna inherits her Aunt Toni's house on the Rhine, where she and Eisa spent wonderful summers together. When Eisa visits them there, they finally confront the past – and Johanna reveals a serious secret to her daughter.
