The 43-year-old lively Hamburg teacher Paula is longing for her summer holidays. Like every year, she wants to spend carefree holidays with her brother Franz on Sylt. But everything turns out differently and much more chaotic than planned. When she arrives, the aunt, who rents out holiday apartments in her old Frisian house, seems to have disappeared without a trace - and with her the occupancy plan of the guest rooms. But that's not all: The new island veterinarian turns out to be an old student sweetheart. Fearing disappointment, Paula lets him fidget - and experiences the summer of her life.
