A real party in a run-down pub on the harbor with a terrible reputation. A proper party with the friends of her older sister, the beautiful and courageous Moira, whom Evelyn admires so much. How she longs to be one of them, studying art or fashion. What unites these young people is their desire to break free from the humble circumstances in which they grew up and lead lives of their own. Paul and Sinden, two upper-class men who unexpectedly appear in the harbor pub, seem to be living life to the fullest: worldly, cultured, arrogant.
