Udo Lindenberg: Comet-like panic. Liqueur paintings, Udograms, naked acts & much more (book)
Udo Lindenberg refers to himself as the "swift artist of St. Georg" when it comes to his paintings and drawings. This brilliant multi-talent, who has made music history and has also expressed himself visually for decades, is presented for the first time in all his facets in this catalog and the accompanying exhibition (opening June 29, 2025, in Oberhausen). From his early, sketch-like drawings defined solely by black outlines, to his invented "Likörelle" (liqueur-based paintings), to his colorful and life-affirming large canvases depicting a lively and loving family. In the small castle, his discography and biography are presented in a completely new way, making previously unknown aspects of his work and life accessible to visitors for the first time. Thanks to the support of the Brost Foundation, it is possible for the first time to present a comprehensive retrospective and transform the entire LUDWIGGALERIE complex into an Udo-verse.
