Sinful St. Pauli and an Innocent Love Hamburg 1953: Fleeing from her violent stepfather, Hanna ends up in the city's disreputable district. She is attacked and manages to save herself in a brothel at the last second. The young caretaker Richard touchingly takes care of her and initially hides her in his basement apartment. Puff mother Evke has enough to worry about with her dark-skinned daughter Lorelei, who has become the target of ridicule in the neighborhood, but Evke is a good person, and after some hesitation she offers Hanna a roof over her head.
